How to Make a Complaint
Last updated: October 2026
We want each homeowner who contacts Actionagainst Restoration to be treated fairly and honestly. If something went wrong, tell us. This page lists the steps and what to expect. It is a general template, not legal advice.
Topics We Accept
You can write to us about:
- Your experience calling or contacting Actionagainst Restoration
- How your personal information was handled
- Anything on this site that seems unclear or wrong
- The conduct of a provider we connected you with
If the Problem Is a Provider
Providers in our network are independent businesses. Each one is responsible for its own estimates, pricing, work and customer service.
First, raise the problem with the provider directly. Keep a written record.
Next, still tell us. Feedback about providers helps keep our network honest. A provider that repeatedly falls short of our expectations may be removed from the network.
Keep in mind that Actionagainst Restoration cannot settle contract disputes, refund money for a provider's work, or make decisions for a provider.
How to File
Email contact@actionagainst.living. Please include:
1. Your name and how to reach you 2. The date you contacted us or the provider 3. The phone number you called or the form you used, if you remember 4. The provider's name, if you know it 5. A clear account of what happened and what outcome you want
After You Send It
Then this happens:
1. We acknowledge your complaint by email, usually within a few business days. 2. We review what happened. This may include contacting the provider. 3. We reply with what we found and any steps we are taking.
Still Not Happy?
You can reply and ask us to take another look. You may also contact your state's consumer protection office or attorney general, or your local Better Business Bureau. For problems with licensed contractors, your state's contractor licensing board may also be able to help.
